CNC Machinist - Day Shift

Shift:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating the CNC machines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Independently set up and operate a variety of metal fabrication machines.
  2. Load and unload metal materials into the machines.
  3. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  4. Verify tool dimensions using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.
  5. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  6. Perform routine maintenance on the machines.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping track of inventory levels and assisting in inventory management as needed.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Training:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in a operating CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a monthly bonus.
